We utilize a long-term educational impact model focused on paying the knowledge forward across future generations.
The principal objectives of the Caribbean-American Society of New York are as follows:

  • Encourage and support persons or organizations providing employment, training, commercial opportunities, or financial support to members and/or programs positively impacting the Caribbean-American community
  • Provide mentorship, scholarship, and encouragement to students (K-8), especially those interested in pursuing careers in math, science, engineering, and technology. In addition, we offer parents assistance in understanding and navigating the high school selection process and the available funding
  • Provide networking opportunities for CASONY members to exchange and share mutually beneficial resources
  • Engage in and influence policy deliberations impacting our community, including those related to laws, regulations, access to services and provision of technologies
