Specialized High School Admission
Students who are preparing to take the Specialized High School Admission Test (SHSAT) meet every Saturday.
Stage Power! with Marc Williams
The public speaking training camp that empowers performance.Co-sponsored by CASONY and delivered by a teaching professional, this specialized training helps students build self-confidence, communicate more effectively and develop leadership skills.
Kindergarten – Grade 12
Student tutoring is available one-on-one or in a small group option.
Technology, Engineering, Arts & Athletics, and Math (Tennis):
Training: Tennis Teaches Us (Young Beginner Level, Ages 4-8).The introductory tennis program that helps kids understand how to compete both on and off the court. Co-sponsored by CASONY and Youth & Tennis, Inc. and delivered by highly experienced staff, these sessions provide year-round instruction in a progressive learning environment. Classes are held every Saturday morning from 8:30 – 10:00AM at Roy Wilkins Park Tennis Bubble, Baisley Blvd and 177th Street, Jamaica, NY.
Please note that this program is available year-round. For greater flexibility, we offer it in two sessions that are each six months long.
Karate with United Martial Arts (UMA)
A progressive program that not only teaches self defense, but also that true strength means knowing how to avoid the fight.Delivered by Sensei Harold Church and his instructors, this program strives to develop young minds and bodies through rigorous training, both physical and mental. Students learn to develop mental toughness, discipline and self-control through physical activities that focus on the five key elements of karate: humility, perseverance, sense of purpose, self confidence and kinship.

Our Issues, Our Time – An exploration of dreams, opportunities and actions.Several times a year, CASONY sponsors a highly social networking event. Each function revolves around a theme that is particularly relevant to members and includes guest speakers and presentations on the topic. These gatherings give members the opportunity to meet and engage new people with similar interests.
