Kimberley Coke serves as the Vice President of CASONY’s Board of Directors.

An accomplished environmental professional with experience in geology, environmental management and sustainability, Ms. Coke currently serves as the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at the Brooklyn Public Library, where she leads safety and compliance initiatives. Her career has spanned both the public and private sectors, with earlier roles at the New York City Department of Education, Galli Engineering and CH2M HILL focused on geology hydrogeology and environmental consulting.

Kimberley Coke is a first-generation Jamaican American, deeply connected to her Caribbean roots and active in the Caribbean-American community.

In addition to serving with CASONY, Ms. Coke is a board member with Community Board 18 and Vice President of her block association, where she successfully orchestrated the granting of their LLC status.

Ms. Coke holds a Master of Science in Hydrogeology, a Bachelor of Science in Geology, a Master of Arts in Sustainability and a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Business Management. She is proud to have played Division I basketball at Hofstra University and to be a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. Kimberley Coke enjoys traveling domestically and internationally, embracing diverse cultures and experiences.
