Nadesha Smith serves on CASONY’s Board of Directors. Since 2002, Nadesha Smith has held several positions at National Grid, all within the utility company’s Customer Organization.

Developing her skills and talents throughout her tenure has led to her current role as Lead Account Manager for Downstate New York. In this capacity, she interacts with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of bringing natural gas to building projects of varying size and scope.

She leads a team of professionals, supporting them through training and development, engagement and team building.

Ms. Smith is an active member of The Alliance Of Black Professionals (ABP), where she contributes to the function and success of the Communication Team. Additionally, she is active in both the Membership and General Committees, as well as the Professional Development team for Women in Network (WIN).

Active in her community, Nadesha Smith sits on the Board of Directors for Alley Pond Environmental Center (APEC) and is also a member of the Long Island chapter of American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE). Nadesha Smith holds a Master of Business Administration in General Management from Dowling College; a Bachelor of Arts in Mechanical Engineering from NYC College of Technology; and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Binghamton University.
