Troy Evans serves on CASONY’s Board of Directors.
Currently the Maintenance Manager of the 74th Street Complex at Consolidated Edison of New York, Troy Evans oversees the implementation of the company’s safety, health and environmental programs for its employees in the Maintenance Department.
His responsibilities include managing all planned and emergency mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks for equipment at both the 74th and 60th Street steam stations. Encouraging collaboration with his team, Mr. Evans works to establish methods and procedures, provide guidance, manage daily activities and enhance the management process of all work done at the facility.
One of his key contributions has been the implementation of a cost management method through an automated procurement process, that was distributed throughout the 74th Street complex. He also successfully developed an interdepartmental mentoring program to help foster employee development and cultural change. Troy Evans earned a Master’s of Business Administration from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. He also holds a Bachelor of Science from Manhattan College in the Bronx.
